Adishakti is located eight kilometers from the heart of Pondicherry,  South India, three kilometers from the international city of Auroville and is surrounded by a group of Tamil villages.

Access:

• The nearest airport is at Chennai. It is 120 kilometers away from Adishakti and takes two hours by road to reach.
• The nearest train station is at Pondicherry. It connects to Villupuram and Chennai, which further connect to other parts of India.

Buses from Bangalore, Chennai etc stop at the turning to Auroville off the Tindivanum-Pondicherry highway. It is a ten-minute walk from the bus stop to Adishakti.
